Lanzor is a proton pump inhibitor that decreases the secretion of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. It is used inthe treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease, where acid reflux causes inflammation of the esophagus, heartburn, indigestion and colon disorders. It is not recommended for pregnant women to use lansoprazole, unless absolutely necessary and under close medical supervision.
