Hydrochlorothiazide: A thiazide diuretic that inhibits sodium reabsorption in the distal convoluted tubules, leading to increased excretion of water and sodium from the body, as well as potassium and hydrogen ions.
Nebifilol: A selective beta-1-adrenergic receptor blocker, it reduces blood pressure and increases the secretion of nitrogen monoxide from the endothelium, which leads to vasodilation and decreases resistance to it.
