Before using Xalatan, wash your hands thoroughly and remove contact lenses if you wear them. Tilt your head back, pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket, and instill the prescribed number of drops into the eye. Close your eyes gently for a few moments to allow the medication to spread evenly.
